There are nine standard pay symbols on the reels of Invading Vegas. The lower-paying four are imprinted with card suits, while the high-paying five are suspicious-looking characters, including Elvis. They are suspicious because their large, toothy smiles appear somewhat contrived. Are they body-snatching extraterrestrials, or are they just ecstatic to see us? The figure on the wild symbol is in no way human. Wilds can appear on all reels, substituting for other pay symbols or awarding their own victories with the same value as the highest-paying symbol.

When the first and second reels display identical stacked symbols and no gain occurs, the third reel will respin. On the first two reels, eligible symbols include conventional pay symbols and wilds. This feature cannot be activated again.

When a re-spin is activated, stacked wild symbols can appear on the third reel. If this occurs, the wild symbols transform into a column that advances one position to the right during re-spins until they reach the fifth reel. When the walking wild stops on the concluding reel, an additional respin occurs on all other reels. A wandering wild prevents scatters from landing while it is active.

When three or more scatter symbols are visible, free spins are activated. Until they reach the first reel, walking wilds progress to the left instead of the right during free spins. Additionally, higher-paying symbols are more frequently combined on the first two reels.
